About Haven of Hope Ministries

Haven of Hope Ministries is a non-profit for abused women and children.  Tamara is the founder and Director of this ministry.  Having survived many years in a traumatic, abusive marriage, she has a heart and passion for women suffering in silence behind closed doors.

Personally experiencing the journey, she comes along side those who have lost their identity, their dreams, and their souls—especially women that live with a narcissistic partner.

Tamara’s expertise enables her to share healing steps that assist abused women in finding their buried dreams and amazing value in Christ.  After enduring years of extensive abuse and severe mental cruelty, Tamara fled with her daughter when it became evident her high-profile minister and seminar-presenter husband was planning their deaths. 

Helped by professionals in their community, they were secreted away to a safe house where they could be secure while planning their next move.  No longer having absolute control over Tamara, and fearing that his secret double life and extremely abusive behavior would be exposed, Tamara’s husband committed suicide.  How does one even begin to heal from such a nightmare?

Only by the grace of God, Tamara now lives her life to help other women and children who are living under the oppression of mental, physical, emotional and spiritual abuse.  Haven of Hope Ministries offers the healing and support so desperately needed to others suffering in abuse.
